Episode 5 Getaway

It turns out that Hinazuki, absent from school, has disappeared after all. Satoru is tormenting himself with the thought that he should have been able to do something more. On top of that, Aya Nakanishi from the nearby elementary school has vanished too. Only Satoru realizes that the same flow of time as 18 years ago is repeating and that therefore, Hinazuki is dead. On top of that, he sees a pair of half knit gloves inside a garbage bag thrown away by Hinazuki’s mother. Unable to take it, Satoru starts running… and ends up somewhere he never expected.
